Editorial Judgment
Story selection is driven by editorial value, public interest, timeliness, cultural relevance, and reader needs. Ad buys, brand partnerships, or gifted products never automatically buy favorable coverage—our editorial team retains final say on headlines, angles, and whether a piece runs at all.
Fact-Checking & Sourcing
Wherever possible, articles are checked against original documents, official data, statements from those involved, and credible sources. When citing other outlets or public information, we clearly attribute and link to the source. Claims we can't independently verify are flagged along with their origin and limitations.
Originality & AI
AI may assist with research organization, translation, transcription, and editorial workflow, but it doesn't replace fact-checking, editorial judgment, or original reporting. Editors remain responsible for accuracy before publication, and paraphrased content will never be passed off as original reporting.
Conflicts of Interest
If a writer or editor has a financial, professional, or personal relationship with a subject that could influence their judgment, they must disclose it to their editorial supervisor. Where necessary, this will be noted to readers in the piece, or the story will be reassigned to another team member.
