Developer Bulkhead's hundred-person team launched their new shooter "Wardogs" in Early Access, and it sold a staggering 1.25 million copies on its first night, with concurrent players on Steam spiking to 340,000. Servers briefly couldn't handle the load and had to be restarted with a queue system.
