Canadian Down Jacket Veteran Buys U.S. Rights to Brazil's Jelly Shoe Brand Melissa

Pajar, a 63-year-old cold-weather apparel company, has acquired Grendene's U.S. subsidiary for Melissa for $3.6 million, officially taking over the full American business of the Brazilian brand famous for its plastic jelly shoes.
