A concept car sat at the end of the runway — but this wasn't an auto show, it was Onitsuka Tiger's 2027 Spring/Summer presentation at Milan Fashion Week. As the brand sent suits, bow-tie blouses, and Muay Thai shorts down the catwalk, a concept car called the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept made its public debut in the very same show, with both moments folded into a single narrative.
This season's collection is themed "ENERGY STATION," built around placing refined tailoring alongside sportswear aesthetics. Suits come in earthy tones, blouses feature bow-tie details, and the cuts lean formal; on the other side, there are 1960s motorcycle-inspired leather skirts, oversized work jackets, and pants shaped after Muay Thai shorts, with grunge elements woven throughout to create tension between the two directions. Formalwear meets sportswear, motorcycle leather meets combat shorts — this season lays the combinations out for the audience to interpret on their own.
This season also marks the debut of the brand new Onitsuka Tiger Stripes logo. The brand chose to reveal the update directly within the show itself rather than holding a separate press conference, letting the new Stripes design make its first appearance alongside the full collection.
