Open-ear earbuds have always faced the same trade-off: to let ambient sound through, you sacrifice bass and detail. The ACCENTUM Clip is out to break that equation. Sennheiser's newly announced true wireless earbuds are built around a "sits-on, not-in" fit, while cramming a 12mm dynamic driver, Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, and LDAC transmission into a body weighing just 6.8 grams — roughly the weight of a hotel key card with its sleeve.
Product manager Friederike Menking put it plainly: "We wanted to raise the bar on the acoustic performance that open-ear earbuds have always been criticized for. Whether you're boosting productivity, exploring on your own, or moving between different environments, you shouldn't have to compromise on sound quality."
Ambient Awareness and Sound Quality — No Trade-Offs
The line between work and life has always been blurry — listening to a new album at the station, grabbing coffee during a meeting break. These scenarios all call for earbuds that can play music while still letting ambient sound in. Many open-ear earbuds on the market noticeably compromise audio quality to achieve this, but the ACCENTUM Clip aims to hold onto both.
How the Sound Is Tuned
The ACCENTUM Clip is Hi-Res Audio Wireless®️ certified, with a 12mm dynamic driver delivering clear mids/highs and solid bass for fatigue-free extended listening. The earbuds feature a built-in dynamic equalizer that automatically compensates tone at lower volumes, with the EQ curve gradually pulling back as volume increases to avoid distortion.
On the connectivity side, it supports SBC, AAC, and Google Fast Pair™️. Once paired with a compatible device, LDAC encoding can be enabled for higher-bitrate streaming. Paired with the Smart Control Plus app, users can fine-tune their sound with a 5-band equalizer, shareable presets, and Sound Check guided prompts.
Designed to Feel "Practically Invisible"
Each earbud weighs 6.8 grams, with a silicone ear hook designed to fit various ear shapes, staying secure during commutes or workouts. The body carries an IP54 rating for dust and sweat resistance. Touch controls let you adjust volume, answer calls, or skip tracks with a single tap.
As for battery life, a single charge delivers 9 hours of playback, and the charging case provides three additional charges, bringing total battery life to 36 hours. A 10-minute quick charge via the included USB Type-C cable adds 2 hours of playback.
The earbuds run on Bluetooth 6.0, supporting fast pairing, multipoint connection, and independent single-ear use. Each earbud is equipped with dual microphones paired with AI noise reduction to cut ambient noise during calls.

The ACCENTUM Clip comes in Black and Cream colorways, with plastic-free packaging. The earbuds will be available starting July 23 on sennheiser-hearing.com, HKTVmall, and select Sennheiser retailers, with a suggested retail price of HK$1,499.
