Having Elton John and death metal band Dying Fetus listed side by side on a hardcore album's remix credits is news in itself. True to their unpredictable nature, Turnstile has taken last year's Grammy-winning album "Never Enough" and completely reworked it into a collaborative record packed with wildly diverse names from across the music world.

Released in June 2025, "Never Enough" featured singles "Seein' Stars" and "Birds," earning frontman Brendan Yates's band two Grammy awards in 2026 and landing them on major festival stages including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza.

Over a year later, Turnstile surprised fans on social media with the announcement of "Never Enough: Versions," a remix version of the album. All 14 original tracks will be completely re-recorded featuring guest vocalists, with release slated for August 28 (this coming Friday). The collaborators announced so far include Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, A.G. Cook, Julien Baker, Four Tet, Slayyyter, Dying Fetus, Oklou, Floating Points, Faye Webster, Nourished By Time, and Alex G — spanning pop, electronic, extreme metal, and indie music scenes.

The original "Never Enough" received a five-star review from NME, which called it "bright" and "wonderfully weird," praising how it "further develops their signature, pop-leaning hardcore vocabulary." The album also landed at No. 8 on NME's list of the best albums of 2025, with the single "Look Out For Me" ranking No. 11 on their best songs of the year list.

Turnstile is currently on tour in Europe and will join Tyler, The Creator as a guest act for his headline performance at London's All Points East festival on August 28 and 29, sharing the bill with Clipse, Vince Staples, Daniel Caesar, and others. The band will continue with a North American tour starting in September, with support from Clipse, Thundercat, Slayyyter, and Yves Tumor.
