adidas Originals × CLOT: a backless Mule, blue suede Superstar and LNGSHOT’s illustrated world
Taiwan sales began October 16 at designated channels. Workwear, a hockey jersey, trousers and a reversible tote accompany the footwear, with Annie Choi’s artwork connecting music and city memories.
adidas Originals collaborates with Edison Chen’s CLOT to launch a new shoe and apparel series, which will be available on the official shopping website and designated stores in Taiwan from October 16, 2026. This time, the open-heeled Mule and blue suede Superstar present different shoe directions, and the Korean music group LNGSHOT participated in the animation-style image planning.

Mule removes the heel and changes more than just putting on and taking off
The new Mule transforms the classic silhouette into a backless form, allowing the shoe body to be released from behind the ankle. When the heel structure changes, the exposed areas of socks, trouser cuffs and feet will also enter the shape, so it cannot just be regarded as a normal sneaker with a different color.
The official shoe name is CLOT Sawtooth Mule by Edison Chen, and the sawtooth outsole continues the visual clues of the collaboration. When choosing, you can first check whether you are used to backless shoes, and then compare the footwear coverage with the actual try-on; ease of insertion does not mean that it is suitable for all activity scenarios.
Blue suede Superstar, another option that retains the complete shoe body
Another shoe from the same batch is the Superstar in blue suede, with serrated soles and detailed processing. Compared with Mule's structural changes in the heel, this pair is easier to view from the relationship between materials, colors and upper and lower contours.

If you are already familiar with the general Superstar, you can compare how the thickness of the sole and the texture of the upper change the ratio. The lightness and shade of suede will also vary depending on the direction. When paired with a plain lower body, the surface can become the focus, and there is no need to add too many accessories of the same strength.
Work clothes and ice hockey jerseys connect the memories of different cities
Clothing includes work jackets and shorts with military details, as well as retro ice hockey jerseys, continuing Edison Chen’s relationship with different cities. Sportswear and workwear appear in the same series, making the collaboration not just a pair of shoes, but also a complete look. The

series also includes sports trousers with braided rope details and a reversible padded tote bag. These items can be matched separately or form a continuous thread with shoes. If you already have a similar coat in your wardrobe, you can start with trousers or bags to find new ways to use it.

LNGSHOT and Annie Choi, turning characters into illustrations
LNGSHOT members OhYul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis were drawn as animated characters by CLOT’s long-term collaborator artist Annie Choi, appearing together with Edison Chen and other project characters. Illustrations allow people from different fields to enter the same visual world, rather than just expressing cooperation through group photos.

When looking at images, you can compare how the characters remain identifiable through their hairstyle, posture, and clothing. When the painting method is unified, the differences in characters need to be established based on local clues; this is also how music, sports and fashion can dialogue in the same picture.

Taiwan listing arrangement, shoe type and channel should be checked one by one
The currently announced channels in Taiwan include adidas official shopping website, Xinyi brand concept store and Ximen classic stores. The supply of different shoe styles, clothing and sizes still needs to be confirmed based on the actual product page. It is not appropriate to directly apply overseas prices or other market sales periods.
This series can be chosen from three directions: if you want to change the wearing structure, look at Mule; if you prefer a complete shoe body, look at the blue suede Superstar; if you are concerned about the city and anime narrative, you can enter from the clothing and image. Decide which part you want to change first, and it will be easier to find a suitable item than just looking at the joint name.
