The predominantly black "Bloodline" colorway with red accents isn't new to the Jordan family. According to sneaker media outlet Sneaker Freaker, this scheme first appeared on the Jordan XX9 in 2015, landed on the Air Jordan 1 in 2019, and resurfaced on the Air Jordan 12 earlier this year. Now, leak accounts @zsneakerheadz, @sneakerfiles, and @sneakermarketro have pointed to a fourth appearance for this black-and-red combo — this time on the Air Jordan 4.
Citing the aforementioned leak sources, Sneaker Freaker reports that this rumored Air Jordan 4 "Bloodline" carries a tentative style code of FV5029-005, with a release date pegged for April 24, 2027. No actual product photos have leaked so far — only design sketches, which show a predominantly black upper, a white midsole, and red accents on the tongue lining and branding. The combo carries echoes of the "Bred" colorway, but with a darker overall tone, as black clearly dominates over red.
The report also notes that Jordan Brand has yet to reveal any design story or concept behind this colorway — "Bloodline" remains just a colorway name for now, without further narrative backing. It's worth noting that this information currently comes solely from sneaker leak accounts and has not been officially confirmed, meaning the release date and style code could still change over time.
Sneaker Freaker notes that the shoe is expected to launch with full-family sizing — in other words, men's, women's, and kids' sizes may drop simultaneously, suggesting supply won't be too limited.
This year has already been a banner year for Air Jordan 4 fans, with Jordan Brand releasing colorways like "Comic" and "Birds of Paradise," plus a rumored "London" pair whose release details have yet to be confirmed. If "Bloodline" does arrive as planned in 2027, it would mark the first time the Air Jordan 4 joins this black-and-red series spanning a decade. There's no official announcement yet, and actual product images and confirmed pricing remain to be verified.
