The GEL-Kinetic 2.0 already looks like it was pulled straight out of a Y2K runner catalog — stacked layering, exposed synthetic seams, and that deliberately technical feel. This time around, ASICS hasn't touched the silhouette, just dipped the whole shoe into an autumnal palette under the name "Olive Green." But the shades actually running the show are Obsidian Grey and Olive Canvas, with black stepping in to add depth at the edges.
The upper construction sticks with the GEL-Kinetic 2.0's usual approach: a breathable mesh base layered with synthetic leather and PU overlays that build up a dimensional stack. These molded overlay pieces give the shoe a sharp, angular shape rather than a plain soft-bodied runner silhouette. The design language clearly pulls from the technical running heritage of the early GEL-KINETIC and GEL-FRANTIC lines, and the deep grey-and-olive pairing pushes the overall mood even further into outdoor-gear territory.
