Bangkok Halloween 2026: choosing sweets, improv, horror-film talks or live music

With October 31 falling on a Saturday, Bangkok’s Halloween programme stretches across late October. Choose a route around food, theatre, cinema or live music rather than trying to do everything.

Bangkok Halloween 2026: choosing sweets, improv, horror-film talks or live music

Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31 in 2026, and Bangkok’s plans extend beyond late-night dance floors into sweets, improv, film conversations and live music. With so much choice, first decide what sort of evening you want: food at a table, a performance or a night led by music. These recently announced formats give the itinerary a clearer focus alongside the costume.

Start with sweets before the late-night programme

Butter at InterContinental Bangkok lists Halloween treats for October 26–31, with chocolate-monster, red-velvet and pumpkin-caramel themes. This can fit into a daytime stop or before dinner. Confirm actual prices, collection arrangements and daily quantities; an event image does not guarantee a full selection at every hour.

For a meal, One Ratchada’s The Haunted Feast runs October 29–31, while Beer Republic lists themed dishes for the same period. Check whether each offer is à la carte, a set or a timed event before deciding if a reservation is needed. Shapes and decoration are fun, but timing, group size and the need for a full dinner determine whether it fits.

Performance: improv and a horror-film discussion offer different thrills

The Rocky Horror Improv Show at The Comedy Club Bangkok on October 30 uses improvised musical comedy to engage with familiar cult-film culture. The focus is live invention and audience interaction, not a scene-by-scene film recreation. First-time visitors should check language, duration and seating before inviting a group.

On October 31, Ghost Circle at theCOMMONS Cloud 11 invites Thai filmmaker Banjong Pisanthanakun to discuss ghost films and behind-the-scenes experiences. It suits anyone interested in how frightening images are made. Ticketing and language follow the organiser’s page; a public shopping venue does not make the talk automatically free or available without a reservation.

For music, choose the sound before the outfit

Live-band listeners can look at Death on Stage at Mr.FOX on October 31, with announced acts including Death of Heather, DEADKAT and Akira Kurø. Ghost Boat at Bangkok Island offers a river-based alternative on the same date. One centres on a stage; the other also requires planning around boarding and sailing. They demand different departure plans.

Choose one main event, then connect dinner, transport and time to change. That leaves more room than racing through four venues. Boats, outdoor areas and indoor rooms have different practical needs for footwear, clothing and belongings. Read entry conditions and check-in times before finalising a look. Events can sell out or change; use this as a selection guide and check the organisers for current tickets, programmes and conditions.
