The standout name on this list is HTX. As one of the world's top exchanges by trading volume, having HTX explicitly named and blocked by Binance is itself news worth paying attention to — not just another round of routine compliance moves.
Binance stated that, effective immediately, it will stop processing transactions from 16 exchanges. Five of these were previously blocked, while 11 are newly added this time, with HTX being one of the exchanges specifically named. The official reason given is compliance adjustments needed to align with EU sanctions against Russia.
Binance has not disclosed the full list of all 16 exchanges in its public statement, nor has it explained the individual reasons each exchange was included in the block, simply citing "regulatory compliance requirements" as a blanket reason. For users, the actual scope of impact and effective timing remain to be clarified in Binance's follow-up announcements.
