CJ Hendry's "Juju Mega" Launches in 10 Colors, Hong Kong Pop-Up Opens Early on October 28

Artist CJ Hendry has unveiled a brand-new project called "Juju Mega," expanding her Juju rabbit-character universe with 10 different colorways and bringing the series online for the first time. The release will debut at a physical pop-up store in Hong Kong before rolling out globally as a blind-box online sale.

What design features remain unchanged?

The "Juju Mega" plush toys carry forward the series' signature look: a soft, flowing silhouette, exaggerated drooping ears, and a leather flower accent covering one eye — positioning the character somewhere between an art piece and an everyday companion. The design continues Hendry's long-standing exploration of the boundaries between fine art, design, and consumer culture.

What can visitors expect from the Hong Kong pop-up?

Ahead of the global online launch, "Juju Mega" will appear at a four-day pop-up store at 2–8 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong, running from October 28 to 31. This marks Hendry's sixth major project in Hong Kong, following her earlier collaboration with Phillips to showcase Juju works and an immersive "jujuworld" exhibition at Pacific Place. The pop-up space is designed around a lavender faux-fur theme, evoking comfort and childhood nostalgia. Visitors on-site will be able to pick their preferred colorway directly, with each piece priced at HK$620.

How does the online blind-box sale work?

The global online launch will take place at 7:00 PM Eastern Time on November 1 via the official CJ Hendry Studio website, sold in blind-box format, meaning buyers won't be able to choose their colorway in advance. Each blind box is priced at $79, plus a flat global shipping fee of $20 (duties included). Every collectible comes with a dust bag, and the packaging also includes a tin can, a folded map poster featuring all 10 colorways, and stickers.

Are there quantity limits?

As with previous Juju releases, "Juju Mega" is a limited-edition drop — once a colorway sells out, it will not be restocked. Collectors interested in the series should note two key release windows: the in-person Hong Kong launch on October 28, and the global online blind-box sale at 7:00 PM Eastern Time on November 1.
