Israel's largest bank has decided crypto no longer belongs outside the counter. The bank is partnering with Galaxy to open trading services for Bitcoin, ether, and Solana for its customers—the three assets currently commanding the most liquidity and attention in the market.
There's a set of numbers behind this move worth noting. According to blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis, on-chain crypto inflows into Israel reached approximately $22 billion over the 12 months ending June 2025. In other words, the money has already been flowing on-chain—what the bank is doing now is formally plugging that pipeline into its own system.
For an institution at the "largest bank" tier, choosing to open all three assets at once rather than sticking to Bitcoin alone is itself a signal: within the banking system, crypto trading is no longer just a Bitcoin-only proposition.
Details of the partnership, launch timing, and trading terms have not been disclosed publicly, pending further announcements from the parties involved.
