Louis Vuitton Travel Book Tempo Point: K/DA’s fictional 24-hour journey across 144 pages

Louis Vuitton Travel Book launches "Tempo Point", bringing the original art travel book with real locations as its theme into the world of the "League of Legends" virtual group K/DA. The official introduction uses the 24 hours before the performance as the narrative framework, allowing Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa to embark on a journey in a fictional destination, and see the characters outside the stage through illustrations.

Travel doesn’t have to be limited to real cities, you can also enter fictional worlds

Travel Book takes as its starting point how artists view strange places. This time, the destination is put into the imagination created by games and pop culture. Fiction does not mean that there is no sense of space. Streets, indoors, movement and stay can still give the characters a specific location in their lives.

When reading this kind of book, you can first look at where the characters are placed in each picture, and then compare how the environment and posture change the mood. What it provides is not a travel guide, but a way to re-understand characters through movement and daily fragments.

28 artists give different brushstrokes to the same characters

Officially listed 28 Riot Games artists to participate, bringing more than 100 original images, combining games, comics and different painting references. The same member may have different outlines, surfaces and lighting in different styles, so character identification does not rely solely on a single fixed painting method.

When viewing, you can compare which features are retained each time and which ones change depending on the painting style. When characters have stable clues, creators can add differences in composition and materials; this is also a worthwhile part of seeing multiple artists working on the same world.

144 pages, trilingual and cloth bound, standard version specifications first

The current official standard version information is listed as 28 x 19 cm, 144 pages, hardcover, French, English and Chinese trilingual, and is bound with cloth and screen printing. It is not a souvenir with only a cover image, but an object that can be read through the rhythm of page turning and the juxtaposition of images.

The size will affect the way it is held, unfolded and stored. Reading on paper is also different from pictures on mobile phones. If you want to actually flip through it, you can consider bookshelf and desktop space first, and then decide whether you prefer the details of a complete narrative, artist information, or a single illustration.

Large format and Artist Edition, don’t mix different versions together

The official list includes large format and Artist Edition, which means that this book has different collection specifications. When purchasing, you need to check the size, binding, accessories and regional supply. It is not appropriate to apply the limited quantity or accessories of a certain version to all "Tempo Point".

The price and supply of collector’s edition will also vary depending on the market. You can start withLouis Vuitton official book pageCheck the standard version, and then ask about the local retailer. Whether it is worth collecting or not, you can still go back to your favorite images and reading methods, and you don’t have to just use the scarcity as a reason.

Picture album and music news can be viewed separately

K/DA’s music dynamics have brought the group attention again, but the published content of the book is different information from the unconfirmed performances, songs or video collaborations. Reading the album does not require you to assume that every community guess will come true in order to fully understand its image world.

The most interesting thing about "Tempo Point" is that it puts virtual characters into paper time that you can slowly flip through. Looking at each day's fragments, different brush strokes, and the size and binding of the book itself can provide more artistic reading space for the cooperation of games and high-quality products.
