Moxy Bangkok’s year-end options: ninth-floor buffet or Sato San rooftop?

For Bangkok at the end of 2026, begin with a practical question: a shared meal or a rooftop countdown? Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong divides its festive plans between Moxy Bar & Restaurant on the ninth floor and Sato San Rooftop Bar on the 32nd, with separate Christmas and New Year’s Eve packages. Coverage appeared October 5, and official ticketing lists New Year early-bird offers until October 31. This is advance planning, rather than an event taking place tonight.

Ninth floor: a buffet is not necessarily available all evening

The December 31 ninth-floor package includes a live buffet and soft drinks from 7pm–11pm, with a published standard adult price of THB6,000++. Official ticketing shows a standard tax-inclusive total of THB7,062 and an early-bird net price of THB6,099. Percentages and checkout totals may depend on the calculation method. Read the payment breakdown rather than deriving another guaranteed figure from a discount headline.

Food-station descriptions include smoked brisket, grills, seafood and wagyu burgers, allowing different tastes around one table. The overall event may run until 1am the following day, which does not mean the buffet also continues until then. Dining is free for children aged six and under, with separate pricing for ages 7–11. Include all guests and ages in the reservation and let the hotel confirm seats and conditions.

32nd floor: Christmas and New Year also differ

Sato San’s Christmas plan combines izakaya-style dining with Thai Isan and Japanese inspiration, officially starting at THB5,900++ per person. Its rooftop welcome to 2027 starts at THB9,500++, with different tables and VIP options. A Christmas starting price is not a New Year price, and one package’s drinks or seating rights should not be applied to every ticket.

The official dining page restricts Sato San entry to ages 20 and over. Families should ask whether festive events have different rules rather than extending the ninth floor’s free-child policy to the rooftop. Everyday rooftop and terrace photographs illustrate the setting, not the future 2026 countdown, and do not guarantee every seat the same fireworks view.

What should be checked before the October 31 early-bird deadline?

Current official New Year ticketing advertises 15% early-bird pricing until October 31. Applicable room or dining combinations depend on the selected product’s terms, without assuming it can be combined with unverified membership offers. Before payment, compare date, floor, entry and food-service times, included drinks, service and tax, and cancellation conditions. Starting prices alone can hide the fact that two packages serve different needs.

The hotel is at 111 Ratchadamri Road, opposite CentralWorld; enquiries are at +66 2 209 5999. Year-end crowds and transport arrangements may change, so check travel information for the actual day. The original feature was produced by BK Studio, and its commercial context is retained here. The useful decision is whether companions, dining rhythm and setting align, rather than paying for the word rooftop without understanding the package.
