PRU’s tenth anniversary returns to the farm: twelve food stations in Phuket on November 1

For its tenth anniversary, Phuket’s PRU is taking its final anniversary gathering back to the source of its ingredients. The Farm Festival will take place at PRU JAMPA Farm on November 1, with food experiences from 11:30am to 5:30pm and music, drinks and time on the farm continuing until 6pm. Admission is limited to 100 tickets, priced at THB4,990++ for adults and THB500++ for children aged 0–12. This is a one-day farm festival with its own format, distinct from PRU’s regular tasting-menu service.

How do twelve cooking stations change the order of a meal?

The official plan includes twelve chef stations, with one dish at each station covered by admission, together with Sai Yok drinking water and an anniversary tote bag. Guests follow a map between stations, replacing the rhythm of waiting at a restaurant table with walking. Distance, plants and encounters become part of what happens between dishes. The question of an ingredient’s origin can be considered alongside the food itself.

The line-up includes Chef DK of HAOMA, Chef Syrco of SYRCO BASE, Chef Aaron of KÁSA PALMA and Chef Im of JAMPA. Beyond following names, visitors can compare approaches to fire, vegetables and local materials. The farm gives the stations a shared landscape without requiring every dish to adopt the same style.

Why do farmers and craftspeople belong in the programme?

Alongside cooking, the programme brings in farmers, producers and craft partners, with farm activities, workshops, local handicrafts and children’s games. This makes labour beyond the plate more visible. Growing, harvesting, processing and cooking involve different people working in succession. Their presence gives the idea of local food a concrete network of cooperation.

Preview images show stalls, plated dishes and producers to explain the space and format, rather than documenting November 1 before it happens. An outdoor route also allows companions to follow different rhythms. Some may ask about ingredients while others rest or listen to music. Arranging meeting points and dividing the twelve stations into stages leaves more room for conversation.

How does the paid festival differ from the free market?

Tri Vananda’s subsequent Local Roots Market is planned for ten editions between November 28 and April 10, 2027, with free entry and no registration. It is a series of dates rather than a market open every day throughout that period. The limited-capacity Farm Festival on November 1 is a separate paid event. Visitors travelling specifically to Phuket should choose their intended occasion and confirm its particular theme and hours.

The price notation “++” indicates additional charges, so booking requires checking the total and cancellation conditions. The stated inclusion of one dish per station and drinking water does not imply unlimited service of every drink. By turning a chef-led meal into a walkable map of food relationships, the anniversary brings growers and craftspeople into the same field of attention. Phuket becomes part of how a meal is made as well as its setting.
