Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 Lineup Revealed: New Artists Go Head-to-Head with Classic Reissues
The full lineup for Record Store Day Black Friday on November 27 has been announced, featuring Florence + The Machine's limited chamber version alongside Playboi Carti's first-ever vinyl pressing, spanning both contemporary pop and classic reissues.
On November 27, independent record shops across the UK and Ireland will simultaneously stock a lineup spanning half a century — on one side, Florence + The Machine's recently released "Everybody Scream," and on the other, 2Pac's "Pac's Life" from two decades ago. Record Store Day UK has released the full list of releases for this year's Black Friday event, an annual occasion dedicated to independent record shops that has always relied on limited editions and exclusive pressings to draw fans back into physical stores.
The most highly anticipated new release in the lineup is Florence + The Machine's "Everybody Scream (Chamber Version)," featuring four tracks reimagined as "alternate chamber versions." Also targeting current fans is Playboi Carti's "MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT," getting its first-ever vinyl pressing, along with Sombr's "In Another Life EP," making its vinyl debut pressed on silver vinyl. Shawn Mendes's "MTV Unplugged" session will also get its first physical retail release.
Holly Humberstone's "Live from Cruel World" 7-inch single features two live performances from her 2026 BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session. Also on the list: KATSEYE's "The Dance Breaks" 12-inch, Jessie Ware's "Sauna / Ride" 12-inch, The Coral's "Butterfly House (Acoustic Version)," and The Chemical Brothers' "Go" 12-inch vinyl.
Commemorative Editions of Classic Records
The reissue lineup is equally substantial: 2Pac's "Pac's Life" gets a 20th anniversary double LP edition; George Harrison has two solo albums back in print; Prince's "3121 Las Vegas Live" arrives in both LP box set and CD formats; and Joni Mitchell's "Live At Carnegie Hall, 1972" marks the first-ever release of this live recording on double LP. Holiday options include Cher's Christmas EP "Queen's Thank God It's Christmas" and the Vince Guaraldi Trio's "A Charlie Brown Christmas," this time in a limited-edition Advent calendar gatefold sleeve.
Brandan Nolan, owner of Sticky Black Tarmac Records, shared his thoughts on what this year's lineup means: "Black Friday often feels like buying for the sake of buying, and Record Store Day Black Friday is the perfect antidote. The point is to walk into your local shop, take your time browsing, and walk out with a record you'll actually treasure. This year's lineup is solid, and it gives everyone one more reason to support independent record shops."
The full lineup spans jazz, rock, hip-hop, and pop, featuring everyone from Albert Ayler and Bill Evans to Motley Crue and Kreator. The event will take place simultaneously at participating independent record shops across the UK and Ireland on November 27, with pricing and individual store stock to be confirmed with each participating shop.
