Chanpan Taipei tickets go on sale November 3: MOONDOG, VIP vs GA and an autogratis guide

If Chanpan is a new name to you, there is no need to memorize a long list of genre labels. The New York trio of Grace Dumdaw, Lance Tran and Matthew Tran is bringing its autogratis world tour to Taipei. For anyone deciding whether to attend, it helps to separate two tasks: get to know the music, then compare ticket types and the day's schedule.

The organizer's Taipei information lists Thursday, December 3, 2026, at MOONDOG, with doors at 5:30 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m. This is a pre-show guide. We have not attended rehearsals or seen the production in advance, and the listening suggestions below are not presented as that night's setlist.

1 | From New York: focus on the trio's collaboration before choosing a genre label

According to the Taipei press materials, Grace Dumdaw handles vocals, Lance Tran plays drums and Matthew Tran plays guitar. The three developed their collaboration through street performances in New York's Chinatown. The organizer describes their sound through indie pop, jazz, dance music and breakbeats; the band's own Bandcamp biography also cites dance-pop and jazzy soul as reference points.

These labels can help you find an entry point without deciding which single category Chanpan belongs in. On a first listen, pay attention to how vocals, guitar and rhythm contribute to a song. At the show, you can then watch how the layers in the recordings translate into performance. That is a suggested way to watch, not a review of a Taipei concert that has yet to happen. 2 | A three-stop listening route, without working through the entire catalog

For a quick introduction to this tour, start with 2025's “endlessly,” then try “confessions part iii” and “buzzin” from autogratis before returning to the EP in its original sequence. This editorial route connects earlier and later releases to make different creative periods easier to compare. It is neither a popularity ranking nor a confirmed performance list.

The official Bandcamp page dates the seven-track autogratis to June 25, 2026. “romantic” runs 3 minutes 23 seconds; each of the other six tracks is under three minutes. Adding the listed durations gives approximately 18 minutes 17 seconds, making it manageable to hear the complete EP before revisiting the parts that interest you. That total comes from the recorded track lengths and says nothing about the concert's running time. Official autogratis track listing

3 | What does the extra NT$1,000 for VIP include?

The announced Taipei prices are NT$2,500 for VIP, NT$1,500 for GA and NT$750 for the GA concession category labeled “愛心票.” VIP costs NT$1,000 more than GA. According to the organizer's press materials, it includes a pre-show artist Q&A, priority access to merchandise purchases, a commemorative VIP PASS and one A3 autographed poster. The PASS is collected at ticket check-in; the artists will hand over the poster at a post-show handover session.

If your main aim is to see the regular performance, consider whether GA meets your needs. If you also want the Q&A and poster, weigh the VIP schedule and price. The available Taipei information does not promise a photo with the artists, an individual signing, a front-row position or a reserved seat. Those should not be added by assumption. Eligibility and application procedures for the GA concession ticket must also be checked on Taipei's official ticketing page; it is not a discount available to everyone.

4 | Plan Thursday evening carefully: 5:30 p.m. is doors, not showtime

There are 90 minutes between Taipei's announced doors and showtime. That matters if you are traveling after work: 7 p.m. is the published start of the main show, but VIP attendees still need to check the Q&A's separate check-in and start times. Do not assume arriving at 7 p.m. will allow you to take part in every VIP activity.

The venue is at 9F, No. 39, Section 1, Fuxing South Road, Songshan District, Taipei. Sales channels are KKTIX and FamilyMart stores across Taiwan. The official page lists November 3, 2026, at 7 p.m. Taipei time for ticket sales. Read the Taipei KKTIX announcement and terms before choosing your ticket, including refund and admission information. This guide makes no claim about remaining tickets or a sellout.

5 | One world tour, but Tokyo's rules do not automatically apply to Taipei

Searching for Chanpan can bring up both the December 1 show at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo and the December 3 show at MOONDOG in Taipei. MODERN SKY JAPAN's Tokyo website lists yen prices, an additional drink charge and Tokyo-specific VIP benefits. Those apply to Tokyo and must not be reused as Taipei admission conditions.

Similarly, autogratis is the tour's name and central release, not grounds for claiming that the band has no newer material. The official catalog also lists the October 2026 single “speculations.” Keeping release dates, cities and ticket conditions separate is more useful than simply remembering a “first visit” or “must-see new band” headline. This article does not predict ticket sales or treat press coverage as audience-demand data. Official Tokyo information, for distinguishing the two shows only
