VERA brought Halloween spirit to Pink Run, from the concert stage to the 10K start
VERA performed, joined the 10K starting line and hosted Halloween activities at So-net’s booth during the October 31 charity run in New Taipei, connecting music with breast cancer awareness.
Halloween costumes can also be a way to cheer others on. On October 31, VERA attended Marie Claire Taiwan’s 12th Pink Run at Shuiyang Bobo Plaza in New Taipei Metropolitan Park. The group moved from the Pink Concert stage to the 10K starting line and hosted Halloween interactions at So-net’s booth. Held yesterday, the charity event brought music, running and breast cancer awareness into one afternoon, giving familiar fan support a sense of mutual companionship.

Halloween hosts with a message of support
Wearing devil and pumpkin accessories, VERA interacted with fans and handed out sweets. So-net’s booth featured its mascot characters in pink tutus, a large amulet-themed backdrop and a fortune game. Completing designated challenges offered a chance to receive an event-day amulet. These activities brought a playful holiday mood to a charity setting: fans could come for a performance and encounter the cause through participation. The amulets and challenges belonged to the October 31 event, recalled here after its conclusion.
VERA again appeared as PINK RUN V Power in promotional videos this year, helping music and social media introduce the event before race day. So-net and VERA have collaborated on theme music since 2023; this gathering took online encouragement onto a physical stage. In the supplied photographs, members wore white tops with dark jackets or jeans for pictures at the branded backdrop and their performance. Their outfits linked the booth and stage, connecting familiar entertainment with participation in the cause.
From the concert to the starting line
The Pink Concert also featured Crispy, Yen Cheng-lan, Kuo Chia-wei, Wei Chia-ying and Tseng Yu-chia, with Rhydian Vaughan and Acrylic Persimmon performing at the event’s close. The organizer’s website also listed multiple performers, making music another reason to gather alongside running. Charity ambassador Jeannie Hsieh offered encouragement through an attitude of facing difficult moments and continuing at one’s own pace, placing support in each step rather than solely at a finish line.
Beyond the stage, VERA served as a guest leading the 10K start alongside runners. The event also offered 4K and 21K categories, with a “1+2” participation concept in the 4K bringing friends and relatives together. Performers and runners thus shared a scene: some contributed through singing, others through their steps, while pink tutus became a visual link for people of different genders supporting breast cancer awareness.
Keeping the spirit of care beyond the run
The venue also offered health screening services including mammography, alongside brand booths, food trucks and interactive tasks. These gave participants ways to engage with the event’s message beyond exercise, with services subject to on-site eligibility and medical staff guidance that day. The organizer named the Taiwan Clinical Oncology Research Foundation as its donation beneficiary. Press materials also described proceeds from add-on purchases of limited PLAYBOY clothing-storage bags being donated to support patients, connecting merchandise participation with the charitable purpose.
For VERA fans, memories might include dance moves onstage, festive accessories at the booth or sharing a starting line with other runners. For the event, pink expressed care for those around us and a willingness to act together. After Halloween, the photographs preserve more than costumes: they capture how music and sport became forms of companionship at this charitable gathering.
