For a shell jacket to make the leap from mountain trail to street style, it needs a physical waypoint in between. Reese Cooper has given it an address: 3300 Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles' Silverlake neighborhood. At 806 square feet, there's no "flagship" signage out front, but this marks the first time RC Outdoor Supply has had a storefront to call its own.
The space was designed in collaboration between Reese Cooper and creative studio PlayLab Inc., with a straightforward purpose: bringing the full RCOS apparel lineup together with RCI footwear under one roof. The store officially opens on August 14 and will operate daily from 11am to 7pm Pacific Time.
The RCOS line traces back to late 2021, when Reese Cooper branched out from his main runway collection, REESE COOPER®, to develop a dedicated outdoor line built on a decade of accumulated Americana and outdoor design expertise. The brand's positioning is clear-cut: technical apparel that transitions straight from rugged terrain into everyday wear, no wardrobe change required. RCOS officially launched in late 2024 under the RCI umbrella, and by early 2025 had already delivered four capsule collections. Since then, Cooper has taken back full control over production and development, citing his need to maintain his own standards for craftsmanship.
The store's focus is on durable pieces built for harsh conditions: shell jackets with taped seams, insulated outerwear, technical fabrics, and Cooper's own patented Hook hardware system. These aren't runway pieces meant to strike a pose—they're gear engineered to actually hold up in the outdoors, and now there's finally a place to see and try them on in person.
