Ripple Prime Launches RWA Perpetual Contracts, Now You Can Trade Stocks and Oil at 3 AM

For everyday investors used to trading stocks and ETFs, once the market closes, that's it—you wait. Ripple Prime's latest product lineup basically throws that rule out the window. The new real-world asset (RWA) perpetual contracts cover stocks, ETFs, precious metals, energy, and forex, with trading and settlement running 24/7, 365 days a year.

These contracts are priced based on perpetual futures listed on Hyperliquid. In other words, assets that used to only exist within traditional trading hours are now packaged into the perpetual contract format familiar to on-chain traders, with prices tracking Hyperliquid's market—but the trading window is no longer limited by New York or London market hours.

For traders already familiar with crypto perpetual contracts, this "same trading logic, different asset class" setup isn't exactly new—the difference is that this time, it's not BTC or ETH on the board, but stocks, precious metals, and energy, the usual suspects from traditional markets.

So far, Ripple Prime has only disclosed the product categories and trading hour settings, with no specifics yet on the actual list of underlying assets, fees, or a launch timeline.
