This time, the partnership lineup came before the product itself. South Korea's Shinhan has signed an agreement with the Solana Foundation, Etherfuse, and Orca, with the target being a tokenized fund denominated in Korean won. But for now, the four parties are only discussing a proof-of-concept for the issuance and distribution process — there's no actual fund up and running yet.
In other words, this agreement confirms "what they plan to test together," not "what's already been built." The four names come from distinct camps: Shinhan is a traditional South Korean financial institution, the Solana Foundation represents the underlying public blockchain, and Etherfuse and Orca are existing projects within the Solana ecosystem. What they're setting out to verify is whether a Korean won-denominated fund can be issued and distributed in tokenized form.
That's all the information available for now — no timeline, no fund size, and no breakdown of which party is responsible for which part of the PoC. This suggests the project is still at the test-design stage, with some distance left before it actually goes on-chain and opens up to investor subscriptions.
