An $81.5 million transaction brought in 1,110 bitcoin, working out to an average cost of roughly $73,400 per coin. After announcing this latest purchase, Strive's total holdings now stand at 21,356 BTC, placing the company 7th on the leaderboard of public companies holding bitcoin.
This latest round of buying is no small addition—the extra 1,110 BTC pushed Strive's previous holdings of about 20,246 BTC up by more than 5% in one go. Against the backdrop of multiple public companies continuing to stack bitcoin on their balance sheets, Strive's move keeps pace with the same rhythm: trading real dollar amounts for a higher spot on the leaderboard.
For now, the publicly available information is limited to the purchase amount, dollar figure, and total holdings size. Strive has not disclosed the completion date of this transaction or where the funding came from.
