But teamLab's new work flips that relationship entirely with its title: "Life is the Small Sun Flickering in the Dark." It's not the flowers reaching toward the sun anymore — each bloom becomes its own tiny sun, flickering on and off.
The piece transforms an Osaka sunflower field into an interactive ecosystem — that's the core concept revealed so far. teamLab isn't treating the sunflowers as mere display objects; instead, the entire field becomes a system that responds and operates on its own. As for how the interaction works, what it senses, or what actions visitors need to take to trigger changes — the studio has only given us the title for now, with no further technical details disclosed.
