Timberland × Jacquemus croc-embossed boat shoes: two colors arrive in Taiwan at NT$11,000
The handsewn 3-eye silhouette gains embossed leather, a leather lining, EVA footbed and lug outsole. Taiwan sales began October 15; confirm sizes with individual stores.
Timberland and Jacquemus collaborate again, replacing the 3-eye hand-stitched boat shoes with crocodile-embossed leather, launching in dark brown and navy blue. It will be launched in limited quantities in Taiwan on October 15, 2026, with a recommended price of NT$11,000, and will be sold through designated Timberland stores and BEAMS Taipei.

Crocodile pattern is a surface treatment, first check the material clearly
The core this time is croc-embossed leather, which is embossed leather showing scale-like undulations. It cannot be directly called crocodile leather just because of the name of the pattern. The rhythm of the surface changes the way the light stays, giving the familiar shoe shape a viewing angle similar to that of leather goods.
Compared with smooth leather, embossing divides the same color into different shades. When looking at photos, compare the toe box, sides, and around the laces to see how the texture flows across the seams; the real change is not just in the pattern, but between the pattern and the existing structure.
Dark brown and navy blue, giving the same texture different weights
Dark brown puts the leather texture in a more direct position, while navy blue provides a deeper, cold direction. Even if the shoe shape is the same, paired with dark blue denim, gray trousers or a lighter lower body, the edge and brightness of the upper will change.
If you want the embossing to be the focus, you can first keep the socks and trouser legs in a simpler color; if the trousers themselves have patterns, you can compare whether they are stacked in the same area. When choosing colors, you don’t have to just look at which pair is rarer, you can also go back to your most commonly worn items.
Three-hole boat shoes, upper body and thick sole together
The collaboration retains the silhouette of Timberland’s classic 3-eye boat shoes, with a rubber midsole and lug outsole. The more familiar boat shoe structure at the top contrasts with the more substantial bottom at the bottom, allowing it to be discussed with wider trousers or workwear.

The amount of upper exposed depends on the trouser hem. Longer trousers can leave the sole as the final visual weight, while shorter hems reveal the opening and socks. Compare both with the balance you prefer.

The lining, insoles and shoelaces are another set of specific details
The official product information lists a leather lining, a padded leather collar, a three-quarter length leather-covered EVA insole, and the laces are made of 100% recycled PET with branded lace tips. These configurations handle interior contact, underfoot, and exterior finishing respectively.

The material list can help understand the structure, but it does not mean that everyone has the same foot feel. If you want to wear it for a long time on a daily basis, you still need to try it on to confirm the shoe last and weight. In particular, the appearance of thick soles cannot be directly regarded as a guarantee of cushioning.
Taiwan access and pricing, check the size first before starting
The public sales channels in Taiwan include Dunnan Energy Store, Ximending, Xinyi Vishow and BEAMS Taipei. NT$11,000 is the recommended selling price in Taiwan. The overseas price cannot be directly converted into the actual price quoted by each store; the limited sale does not mean that every store currently still has the full size.
This collaboration focuses on the material surface rather than drastically changing the shoe shape. First identify the embossed leather, choose the color, and then look at the thick sole and your own trouser cuffs together, and then you can move from the topic of joint branding to a more specific wearing judgment.
