On one hand, EA's flagship shooter Battlefield 6 is confirmed to be playable on Xbox Game Pass starting its very launch day, October 13. On the other, rumors have been swirling that the Ultimate tier is about to drop day-one releases and cloud gaming features. This month, Microsoft chose to answer those doubts with an actual lineup.
According to the lineup announced on Microsoft's official blog, three titles have already gone live in the first half of October: Minecraft Dungeons 2 is now available for Ultimate and PC subscribers, Keeper—previously Ultimate-exclusive—has been expanded to the Premium tier, and Gears Of War: E-Day is likewise open to both Ultimate and PC players.
The pace picks up considerably from here. October 8 brings Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, and Neon Abyss 2 all at once, with Neon Abyss 2 being one of the few titles available across all three tiers—Ultimate, Premium, and PC. October 13 marks the biggest wave of the month: Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon, and Valor Mortis all launch simultaneously, with Battlefield 6 joining the subscription service right on its release date—meaning players won't need to buy it separately to experience EA's big annual title on day one. October 15 adds Blue's Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts, while October 16 brings Beyond These Stars, both available to Ultimate and PC subscribers.
