The Yeezy 800 previously surfaced in an all-black colorway, but this time Ye is heading to the opposite end of the spectrum. He revealed four pastel colorways on Instagram Stories, pushing this independently produced retro runner from a muted all-black preview into bright, unconventional tones rarely seen from the brand — Yeezy's usual earth tones and grayscale language are almost nowhere to be found here.
The silhouette itself retains the retro running shape shown previously, with clearly layered upper construction. The tongue uses ballistic mesh, while the forefoot and heel feature textured synthetic panels for added support. Nubuck-like overlays wrap around the eyelet area and lateral forefoot, paired with layers of loose, gauze-like mesh that give the whole shoe a raw, unfinished texture — a treatment that even extends to parts of the midsole.
