Action Bronson x New Balance 2811 Adds "Blackjacques" and "The Whisperer" Colorways, Released on September 25

Rapper Action Bronson and New Balance have added two new colorways, "Blackjacques" and "The Whisperer," to their first collaborative signature shoe, the New Balance 2811, on September 25, 2026. The shoes were released exclusively through Bronson's official online store, adding two more versions to this sneaker silhouette that first debuted earlier this year.

What kind of shoe is the 2811?

The 2811 is not a modification of an existing New Balance silhouette, but rather built with an all-new upper construction combined with the existing outsole unit of the New Balance 2010 sneaker. This is the first signature shoe resulting from the collaboration between Bronson and New Balance.

How do the "Blackjacques" and "The Whisperer" colorways differ?

The "Blackjacques" features a dark-toned design overall, and Bronson himself had already worn them in public before the official announcement of the shoe. In contrast, "The Whisperer" opts for white and black as its main colorway, presenting a different visual effect from Blackjacques. Both shoes feature subtle red and blue accents, continuing Bronson's consistent personal design language known as "Baklava."

Why was there inventory leakage controversy before the release?

Before the official release of "The Whisperer," discussions emerged on social media regarding sneaker inventory leakage, claiming that some stock was suspected to have been stolen and entered the supply chain, subsequently appearing on resale platforms at prices lower than the official retail price. Action Bronson himself responded to the matter, pointing out that there were indeed stolen shoes circulating. Despite these distribution hiccups, both colorways were eventually officially released on September 25 as originally scheduled.

Review of the release method

The "Blackjacques" and "The Whisperer" initially adopted a limited release model, available exclusively through Action Bronson's official online store. They were not simultaneously stocked in New Balance official channels or general sneaker retailers, and the official price has not been disclosed in detail.
