AURALEE x Salon C. Lundman starts A Conversation in eight pieces

AURALEE collaborates with Salon C. Lundman for the first time to launch a capsule series of eight styles called "A Conversation", which is scheduled to be sold at the Open House event held by Dover Street Market Ginza on October 24, 2026. The series combines AURALEE's original fabrics and customized clothing with Salon C. Lundman's men's tailoring and detailing.

A Conversation, talking about two methods of men's clothing

AURALEE designer Ryota Iwai has been friends with Lundman for several years, and this time he turned the conversation into concrete products. Lundman studied at Central Saint Martins, and later worked for brands such as Acne Studios, Tom Ford and TEKLA. He founded Salon C. Lundman in 2022, focusing on classic men's wear, materials and body research.

Reading the collection in this context, the focus is not just on which name is printed on the label, but how familiar garments are reassigned proportions and details. Shirts, coats and suit jackets are already common in men's wardrobes. Adjustments to materials, collar shapes and trousers pleats will allow them to present different silhouettes in daily matching.

Eight products and announced prices in Japan

series includes jackets for 363,000 yen, double-pleated trousers for 154,000 yen, double-collar shirts for 121,000 yen, lapel coats for 407,000 yen, and Baby Cashmere knits for 132,000 yen. Accessories include hats for 81,400 yen, scarves for 96,800 yen, and long-sleeved T-shirts for 37,400 yen.

These digital display collections span across outfits and individual accessories, not all of which need to be purchased together. If you only choose one piece, you can compare the neckline level of double-collar shirts, and the volume distribution from waist to legs for double-pleat pants. For coats and knitwear, you should also check the material, length, and cleaning method.

What will be at the DSMG Open House on October 24th?

In conjunction with the sale, DSMG will set up a display and present the image of the cooperation with a large portrait poster; the posters are available to attendees and are in limited quantity. The takeaway display poster is a different item from the paid product, and it cannot be understood as a fixed accessory that comes with any purchase.

The event is located at Dover Street Market Ginza in Ginza, Tokyo. The announced sales node is Open House on October 24. You should still check the store's latest activities and business information before visiting. In particular, the remaining status of limited edition products and posters may be different, and original news alone cannot be used to ensure that they are available on-site.

Looking at this type of joint branding, go back to the silhouette of the entire piece and return to the clothes themselves.

A Conversation is suitable for reading from the relationship between fabric and tailoring. How the soft material falls on the shoulders, how the pleats unfold, and whether the double collar fits a day-to-day outerwear are all more concrete ways to compare than looking at brand combinations alone. Product photos can help you understand the lines, but they cannot replace your personal experience of weight and movement space after trying them on.

For readers who are already familiar with AURALEE, this collaboration provides another way to view its materials; for those who are new to Salon C. Lundman, the eight products can better illustrate how the brand handles classic men's clothing than abstract style labels. The final choice should still come back to the style and frequency of use, so that the "conversation" falls on the clothes that will actually be worn.
