$80,000 — that's the psychological level Bitcoin is currently holding onto. There's been no explosive rally, but no crash either. The support comes from spot ETF inflows, which remain one of the few concrete pillars still standing in the recent bullish narrative.
But analysts are choosing their words carefully, describing bull market talk as "premature but optimistic." The phrase itself is a kind of contradiction — it doesn't deny that optimism exists, but it also refuses to upgrade "early signals" into a "confirmed trend."
The reasoning isn't complicated. Inflation data remains sticky, with no clear sign of cooling, and geopolitical uncertainty hasn't been resolved either. These two variables have repeatedly swayed risk appetite in the crypto market over the past year, and analysts clearly aren't ready to lock in optimism as a foregone conclusion while those factors remain unsettled.
In other words, what the market is seeing right now is a positive signal on the flow side, not a clear shift in the macro environment. Whether $80,000 can hold, and whether ETF inflows can be sustained, still remains to be seen.
