From Five Sellouts to a 21-City Tour, bunii Is Heading Back to School with VIRGILIO's BUNIIVERSITY
LA alt-rock artist bunii has announced the BUNIIVERSITY fall tour, 21 U.S. dates following up on this year's sold-out five-city debut run. It kicks off October 5 in Chicago and wraps November 9 in Los Angeles.
Five shows, all sold out. That's the report card from bunii's first tour run this past June, spanning Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Houston. Now he's expanding the map to 21 cities under the name BUNIIVERSITY—treating his music career like a school he's running himself.
The tour is built around the 2026 album *VIRGILIO*, which landed on The FADER's list of the year's 30 best albums. bunii is also the subject of The FADER's latest GEN F feature. He dropped the single "TETHERED" on August 14, with the tour announcement following tightly on August 21.
Born Niccolo Terre, bunii started producing at 15 and released his first material in 2023, bringing his own hand-built sound into the emo and alt-rock scene rather than relying on a hired team. That shows in how he's gone from sold-out single shows to a multi-city tour—no middleman narrative here, just growth stacked up show by sold-out show.
The tour opens October 5 at Chicago's Thalia Hall, then hits Detroit, Amityville, New York's Racket, Philadelphia's Underground Arts, Washington D.C.'s The Atlantis, Orlando, Charlotte, Atlanta, San Antonio, Austin, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, Berkeley, Sacramento, San Diego, Phoenix, and Santa Ana, before wrapping November 9 at Los Angeles's El Rey Theatre—right back on his home turf.
Presale tickets go live Tuesday, August 25 at 10am, with general on-sale following Friday, August 28 at 10am.
