Bybit launches round-the-clock options trading, SpaceX and Nvidia become the first targets

Stock options trading is supposed to have an opening and closing, and Bybit intends to break this. The cryptocurrency exchange announced that starting from September 17, users can trade options on the stock perpetual contracts of SpaceX (code SPCX) and Nvidia (code NVDA), and it will be open 24/7, all year round.

The two targets were originally popular names in the traditional stock market, a space company that has not yet been listed but has attracted great market attention, and the other is a chip factory whose stock price has taken off in this wave of AI hardware. Bybit packaged them into “perpetual contracts” and put them on the crypto market. This time, adding the option layer, it is equivalent to pushing the derivatives gameplay one step further.

In terms of trading mechanism, Bybit stated that these options support fractional lots, which means that users do not need to collect a full contract to enter the market, and the threshold is lowered. USDT is uniformly used for settlement, which is also in line with the consistent US dollar stable currency settlement logic of crypto exchanges. Users do not need to convert back and forth between legal currency and currency assets.

Currently, the public information is limited to the launch time, target and trading mechanism. Bybit did not further explain the fee structure or risk control details.
