Starting October 7, Carhartt launched its all-new heavy-duty workwear line, Steel Series, targeting work environments that demand high-strength protection and durability. The collection is now available through the official Carhartt website and select retailers.
What problem is this series meant to solve?
The brand states the design revolves around three key priorities: zoned protection with reinforced layers at high-wear points, a stretch structure for greater freedom of movement, and abrasion resistance. To achieve this, Carhartt developed a proprietary Ny-co nylon-cotton blend fabric, which it says has been tested against traditional canvas, duck canvas, and fleece materials, aiming to support stretching movements without adding weight. These comparative multiples are based on the brand's own internal testing and are not independent results verified by this publication.
