Most people looking to pick up a new skill might sign up for a class. Gunna's approach? Bring a world-class athlete straight to set. The music video for his new single "Pop It" has him sharing the court with tennis champion Coco Gauff, with the camera rolling on this impromptu "play while you shoot" session from the jump.

Director Spike Jordan (of The Genius Club) explained the concept behind the shoot in an email to The FADER: "Gunna's always wanted to get into tennis, so for this video we figured, why not learn from the best and make it real. The whole day was really just about having fun, trying something new, and letting everything around it happen naturally."

The tennis court scene is just the starting point of the video. From there, the camera follows Gunna overseas to beaches, mansions, and villas, where he cycles through a lineup of high-end suits ranging from Miu Miu to Bottega Veneta, styled by Bobby Wesley Williams and Jenna Tyson.

"Pop It" is Gunna's first solo single since his 2025 album The Last Wun, and also the debut release from his own imprint SB THE LABEL, launched in partnership with Atlantic Records. In an email to The FADER, Gunna spoke about the new venture: "SB THE LABEL represents the start of a new chapter for me. There's no better way to kick it off than alongside my brothers Casper Bluff, Nechie, and Dracc, the first artists signed to the label. For me, this is about stepping into a new role, expanding what I'm able to create, and building something that represents where I'm headed next."
