HUF’s winter lookbook takes skate clothing onto the water
Fishing scenes, quilted jackets, faux leather, high-pile fleece and Snoopy imagery reshape the winter wardrobe, with Japan sales from October 23 at 10am.
HUF takes its winter 2026 lookbook between boats and water. Figures hold rods, sit in small boats or stand at the shore while wearing recognisable skate staples: loose trousers, checked tops, jackets and graphic knits. The American brand uses an outdoor setting to shift the way its wardrobe is seen. The announced Japanese release is October 23, 2026, at 10am in local stores and the official website, rather than a confirmed universal schedule.
Graphic knitwear concentrates colour on the upper body.Dark outerwear retains a loose everyday silhouette.
Jackets and fleece begin the winter layers
The range includes the quilted Vernon Liner Jacket, faux-leather Silverado Jacket and Seneca High Pile Quarter-Zip Fleece. Each treats the surface differently: quilting draws regular lines, faux leather forms broad reflective areas, and high pile creates loft. Layering comes from comparing those surfaces as well as simply wearing more pieces.
A brown jacket layers over a graphic top.
Silverado is identified as faux leather, not genuine leather inferred from a photograph’s shine. Fishing and waterside scenes likewise do not establish waterproofing or professional angling specifications for every item. The clearer direction is skate clothing in a slower outdoor context. Function and care still require checking the individual labels.
Faded blue, green and brown sit within the environment
Washed blue, grey, brown and green appear between water and vegetation, with loose trousers such as Cromer Faded Pants retaining familiar volume. Colours do not disappear entirely into the background: knit graphics, checks and small embroidery preserve differences. The range keeps a streetwear presence without depending on very bright clashes.
Checked fleece and faded trousers establish winter proportions.
Anyone already accustomed to wide trousers can begin seasonal change with the top’s material. The same faded jeans have different visual weight beneath a fluffy quarter-zip or faux-leather jacket. When both halves are loose, the points where collar, cuffs and hems gather become more significant. These are observations from published styling rather than a fit test or insulation assessment.
Illustration gives the outdoor story a lighter touch
The collection also uses illustrations by Los Angeles artist Mia Scarpa and a Peanuts graphic of Snoopy wearing a puffy jacket. Humour and a soft character presence keep the fishing concept from becoming an overly serious equipment list. Graphic garments alongside plain outerwear offer a way to control the amount of information in a look.
The lookbook asks whether familiar clothes retain their relaxed proportions away from skate streets. Boats and water provide the background; trouser shapes, surfaces and graphics connect with the wardrobe. Check Japanese sizing and delivery before buying. A brand campaign is not an actual fishing event or TIDEZINE experience, and its scenery cannot establish outdoor performance for every garment.
