INMORIES × TPBL at Taipei Fashion Week: MOBILIZE translates basketball into 30 runway looks
Fourteen players and cheerleading representatives from seven teams joined the runway. The Spring/Summer 2027 collection explores movement through restrained lines and proportions.
Taiwanese brand INMORIES released the Spring/Summer 2027 series MOBILIZE — Transform by Movement at Taipei Fashion Week, and cooperated with the Taiwan Professional Basketball League TPBL. The series presents a total of 30 sets of looks, inviting 14 players and cheerleading representatives from seven teams to take to the runway, bringing stadium culture into the clothing narrative.

The lines of the court are converted into proportions around the body
INMORIES takes Elevated Basics as the design core. This season, it starts from the lines, body rhythm and movement trajectory of the basketball court. Movement here not only appears in jersey patterns, but also becomes a way of thinking about the relationship between length, line and body of clothing.

When looking at the collection, you can start by observing how the garments form silhouette as they walk, and then return to the proportions when they stop. The same clothes may have different tightness and layers in the two states, which also gives the movement in silence a specific place to watch.
30 sets of looks, making restraint a rhythm
The brand approaches this season with simplicity, modernity and restraint, allowing the energy of sports to be incorporated into tailoring. The entire 30 sets of works provide the rhythm of continuous viewing. Looking at one photo alone, it is easy to miss the repetition and changes in color, proportion or similar lines between different shapes.

If you want to bring the collection back to daily life, you can first pick the most familiar silhouette and then see how it connects with the existing jackets and trousers. Whether clothing is attractive or not is often related to whether the user is willing to match it repeatedly. It cannot be judged solely by style names such as old money style.

Fourteen representatives from seven teams
Taipei Taishin Mars was represented by 林庭謙 and 雷蒙恩, New Taipei CTBC DEA by 容容 and 珮含, and New Taipei Kings by 全恩菲 and 允泠. Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards representatives 高錦瑋 and 林信寬 and Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers representatives 劉丞勳 and 蔡宸綱 also took the runway.
Formosa Dreamers representatives 少少 and Lulumi, alongside Kaohsiung Aquas representatives 邱子軒 and 唐維傑, completed the seven-team lineup. The 14 representatives included both players and cheerleaders, rather than 14 players. Their different performance backgrounds gave the clothes distinct expressions.

From watching basketball to looking at clothing
The audience may have known a person through the team, but this time they watched the gesture again through different looks. The speed, focus and team relationship on the court will change into another rhythm on the runway, giving sports culture and fashion audiences a meeting point.
For design brands, collaboration also provides opportunities to communicate with new communities. What is really worth observing is how the participants enter the work itself, rather than just appearing in the group photo; when the clothes can respond to different body shapes and movements, the crossover will have specific content.

Spring and summer release and listing information need to be understood separately
MOBILIZE belongs to the Spring/Summer 2027 series. It does not mean that all catwalk items have been available in stores at the same time. If you have a style you particularly like, you still need to wait for the brand to announce the commercialized styles, sizes, prices and official sales arrangements.
The highlight of this INMORIES × TPBL is to extend basketball from watching the game to wearing and designing. By first looking at how actions change clothing, and then looking at how different representatives present the same language, we can find an entrance to the discussion of clothing itself beyond the familiar faces on the court.
