The handle-like outline makes the JBL Pulse 6 look like an old-fashioned lantern at first glance, but the interior of the fuselage is equipped with full-color LEDs and a modern lighting control system. This speaker is the first update to the JBL Pulse series since 2022. It is priced at US$330 and is available for pre-order from now on, with shipments expected to begin on September 6.

The most obvious selling point of Pulse 6 is its 360-degree light show capability. There are 16 pre-programmed themes built into the fuselage, 10 of which are ambient lighting, and the other 6 are specially designed for party occasions with a stronger sense of rhythm. If you already have JBL PartyBox speakers or PartyLight Stick light strips at home, Pulse 6 can be linked with them to create more complex lighting effects; through Auracast technology, it can also synchronize audio playback with other JBL devices.

In terms of acoustic performance, JBL said that Pulse 6 adopts an upgraded acoustic structure and integrates the brand's AI Sound Boost technology to reduce distortion and improve overall output performance. In terms of specifications, this speaker has a battery life of up to 12 hours and is IP68 waterproof and dustproof, making it suitable for use outdoors or in humid environments.
