LCD Soundsystem Announces 12-Show 2026 New York Residency, Show #100 Lands November 30
LCD Soundsystem has confirmed a return to Brooklyn Steel and Knockdown Center for 12 residency shows at the end of 2026, with the November 30 date marking the band's 100th New York residency performance. The official poster teases surprise guests and DJs for the milestone night.
The poster says just one line: "100 NYC residency show blowout." That's LCD Soundsystem's way of marking the November 30 show — their 100th New York residency performance, set to take place at Brooklyn Steel, with an official promise of a lineup of guests and DJs taking turns throughout the night.
This milestone show is one stop on the band's 12-date residency run planned for the end of 2026. LCD Soundsystem has held annual year-end multi-night residencies in New York since 2021, and before that, they played a string of shows at Brooklyn Steel back in 2017. Last November and December, James Murphy and co. played 12 straight nights at Knockdown Center in Queens, where they even brought back 2005's "Too Much Love" live for the first time in 14 years.
The 2026 run brings both venues back into play. From November 19 to 22, they'll kick off with four straight nights back at Knockdown Center in Queens. Then from November 30 to December 3, they'll move over to Brooklyn Steel, with the November 30 show marking the 100th residency performance. Finally, from December 10 to 13, they'll wrap things up with another four-night run back at Knockdown Center.

Ticket sales roll out in three phases: American Express cardholders get early access starting Tuesday, October 6 at 10am ET; general fans can register by Wednesday, October 7 at the same time to secure presale access; and general public sale opens Friday, October 9 at 10am ET.
While the residency is full steam ahead, progress on new studio material remains murkier. The band hasn't released a full album since 2017's "American Dream." After dropping the single "X-Ray Eyes" earlier this year, Murphy addressed the album's status: "Don't ask me when it's done, because we're still doing it. But it feels really good to be able to put out new music." He added that there's currently "no finished album," just incremental progress made whenever the band isn't touring — "anything else you hear is just speculation."
