LEGO × Daft Punk confirms a partnership as ALIVE 2007 pyramid enters development
The LEGO Ideas fan proposal is approved for commercial development, with more news in 2027. Final design, piece count, price and release date remain unannounced.
Daft Punk’s ALIVE 2007 pyramid is officially moving towards becoming a LEGO product. LEGO and the French electronic duo announced their partnership October 22, 2026, covering products, content and brand experiences. A stage proposal from the LEGO Ideas community has been approved for commercial development. This confirms collaboration and development rather than a set going on sale; the final design, piece count, price and date have not been announced.
From a father-and-son creation to official development
Patrick Harboun and his son developed the proposal during time at home, beginning with their shared love of Daft Punk and bricks. It won LEGO Ideas’ Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 before gathering 10,000 supporters. Approval to progress towards an official product shows how community support can connect with the next stages of design, manufacturing and licensing.
The published pyramid images show the original fan design rather than the final retail product. LEGO development may still change structure, proportions and parts. Familiarity with the proposal therefore does not establish final specifications. For collectors, keeping that distinction clear prevents an exciting announcement becoming an assumed shopping list.

Why can the pyramid become an object beyond the stage?
The ALIVE 2007 stage places two robots at the centre of a pyramid, with triangles, grids and light creating a clear visual order. That language remains recognisable in bricks: stepped volumes lend themselves to stacking, repeated grids suggest modules, and central figures supply scale. Its outline can connect with Daft Punk’s visual world even for someone who never attended the show.
The translation raises a question about how sound memories become something to view, assemble and display. A stage changes over time and through light, while a model remains on a table and must suggest motion through structure and detail. This reads the stage and proposal imagery; it does not confirm lights, music playback or other electronic functions in a final product.
The film brings the robots into a brick universe first
The collaboration film follows the robot minifigures after a red holographic brick through a dark setting and unfolding architecture, ending at a brick control console. Music connects Voyager from Discovery with the title track of Human After All, bringing familiar recordings into a new scale. A red 2×4 brick had already provided a clue at the end of the October 21 WDPK broadcast.
Official information promises more news in 2027 rather than announcing a Daft Punk comeback tour. What fans can presently confirm is a new visual collaboration and progress towards commercialising the pyramid proposal. Follow the official LEGO partnership introduction for updates. Before final set details arrive, the translation of characters, architecture and rhythm into bricks offers more to examine than an unannounced price.
