In multiple leaked phone videos, blood can be seen seeping from Lucki's neck as security guards hold him up and walk him toward a vehicle. The footage captures the aftermath of a brawl outside last Saturday night's ComplexCon venue in LA — and it's currently the only identifiable glimpse of a "victim" from the entire incident.
According to statements LAPD confirmed to the LA Times and KTLA-5, the brawl was still ongoing when police arrived on scene, involving a group of people that officers quickly dispersed. Four people were injured, with wounds "consistent with stabbing or laceration injuries," though police have not released the identity of any of the victims. Two were taken to the hospital by ambulance, while a third — believed to be Lucki — made his own way to the hospital. A fourth victim suffered a laceration to the elbow but refused treatment on scene.
Multiple videos circulating on social media span different angles and timestamps, but none show the attacker or capture the moment of the stabbing itself. The FADER said it has chosen not to republish links to the footage due to its graphic nature. Lucki's team has not yet released an official statement.
According to TMZ, LAPD has classified the case as an attempted murder investigation. The report also states that Playboi Carti was present at the scene that night but was not involved in the brawl, instead watching the altercation unfold from inside a car. That account differs from claims by some witnesses on social media alleging that "members of Carti's entourage were involved."
Carti and Lucki have collaborated musically in the past, but their relationship hasn't been smooth in recent years, with the two trading jabs at each other on social media. Lucki himself has repeatedly stressed in interviews that he holds no personal grudge against the Atlanta rapper. On the night of the incident, Carti and Ken Carson were headlining ComplexCon, closing out the show with a full Opium label lineup.
ComplexCon organizers released a statement to PEOPLE in response: "The safety of our guests, artists, partners, and staff is our top priority. We are aware of the incident that occurred outside the venue yesterday, and our security team and LAPD responded immediately. We take incidents like this very seriously." The statement did not provide further details on the victims' identities or the cause of the altercation.
