After BTS V Joins Nothing: From Triple-Driver Headphones to Phone (4a), a Family of Transparent Design

Nothing announced BTS member V as a global brand ambassador on September 29, 2026, alongside Headphone (1) Pro. The brand campaign links music with creativity and also draws attention to a range beyond transparent headphones. Across audio, phones and CMF watches, Nothing aims to make technology recognizable as personal objects. Appearance provides the entry point; operation and use reveal the next layer of differences.

Headphone (1) Pro Makes Structure and Control Visible

Headphone (1) Pro’s triple-driver architecture includes a 40 mm dynamic driver, a precision dynamic driver and a treble xMEMS driver, dividing work across frequencies. Nothing collaborated with London’s Metropolis Studios on tuning and includes a Flat EQ switch to move between a more neutral setting and the listener’s usual EQ. That is a product function, not a guarantee that every recording will produce the same listening impression.

Transparent glass reveals part of the internal architecture. Aluminum construction combines with titanium-alloy arms, with official weight listed at 327 g; a wider headband and thicker padding support wear. Rollers, paddles, buttons and a switch keep volume, tracks and modes from relying entirely on the phone screen. Ten-microphone ANC, IP52 dust and splash resistance, and up to 68 hours of playback with ANC off are official features with stated test conditions.

Ear (3a) and Phone (4a) Translate Identity into Different Sizes

Ear (3a) continues the transparent language in a smaller true-wireless format. White, black, yellow and pink versions combine a 12 mm driver with active noise cancellation. The official page lists Audio Snapshot, call recording and up to 42 hours of battery life including the case. Tools that capture sound require distinguishing recording, transcription and subsequent organization, with their respective conditions, rather than calling everything one AI button.

Phone (4a) brings transparent backing, color and Glyph lighting to phone scale. Beyond black and white, pink and blue create tinted-glass variations, offering an alternative to uniformly dark electronics. Phone (4a) and Pro are separate versions, so camera and external-interface specifications cannot be interchanged. For everyday photography and notification management, those distinctions deserve attention before any single zoom figure.

CMF Watch 3 Pro Adds an Everyday Wrist Interface

CMF Watch 3 Pro uses a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display, dual-band GPS, Bluetooth calls and multiple sports modes. The brand states up to 13 days of typical use. Watches and headphones differ in how information remains available: audio products respond through sound and physical controls, while a watch keeps time, notifications and activity records at hand. Always-on display, GPS and calls also affect battery life.

The shared language is not simply seeing inside. It connects appearance, interaction and brand culture. V’s campaign photographs suggest a way to wear the products, but cannot replace comparing dimensions and operation. For headphones, start with weight and controls; for earbuds, storage and functions. For phones and watches, return to the information you handle every day, while distinguishing regional prices, versions and official feature conditions.
