PUMA × Jil Sander launches October 23 with leather Speedcat, concealed-lace Suede and wool T7
Black-and-white leather shoes, Club Navy stretch wool and boxy cuts reinterpret sportswear. Release-market details and the collection’s design changes.
PUMA and Jil Sander’s latest collaboration moves from footwear towards a complete wardrobe. For autumn/winter 2026, Simone Bellotti reworks Speedcat, Suede and the T7 tracksuit, placing black-and-white leather alongside Club Navy wool. The series begins launching October 23, with selected retailers following October 24. Timing differs by market; neither a Hong Kong article nor a Japanese announcement establishes simultaneous Taiwan availability.

How do Speedcat and Suede reduce visual noise?
Speedcat retains the long, low profile associated with its racing-shoe background, now in all-black or all-white leather with leather linings and reworked heel details. Attention shifts towards the last and the upper’s continuous lines rather than multiple colour blocks. Original sporting functions should not automatically be attributed to this collaboration, and this is not TIDEZINE’s wear test.
The Suede name should not be translated into an assumption about this edition’s material. Reinterpreted in white leather, it adds a concealed lacing system, revised sole and leather lining for a cleaner version of a familiar retro shape. Compare how the upper opens and the room over the instep. Concealing laces is a structural and visual choice, rather than an automatic fit for every foot.
Why bring wool to the T7 clothing?
T7’s recognisable sporting stripes now meet a two-way stretch wool developed for the collaboration, with a boxy track jacket and tapered trousers. Club Navy, matte silver zipper pulls and understated woven labels move attention towards material and proportion. Rather than viewing it solely as a more expensive tracksuit, examine how the fabric supports width and drape.
A white long-sleeved top uses a cotton and recycled-polyester blend in a relaxed, square silhouette. Jacket, trousers and shoes can be considered separately. Wearing the full look displays the proportions arranged by the brands; integrating one item into an existing wardrobe requires reconsidering waist, length and shoe shape. Campaign images do not guarantee identical proportions on everyone.
When and where? Japan specifies additional time slots
PUMA Japan lists October 23 at 8pm for both brands’ official online stores, followed on October 24 by PUMA’s Osaka store, its app and selected retailers. Designated Japanese locations also had advance arrangements beginning October 21. These are Japanese schedules, not a uniform timetable for every store worldwide. Both footwear styles have a Japanese recommended retail price of ¥77,000 including tax; check local official prices for Hong Kong or Taiwan.
The brands first collaborated in 1998 and restarted the partnership in 2025. This release brings clothing into the new phase. For menswear readers, the useful comparison extends beyond which shoe is most popular to whether the black-and-white lines and wool silhouettes work with an everyday wardrobe. Check sizing, care and availability item by item so the restrained design can become part of use rather than remaining only campaign imagery.
