The most intriguing part of this year's Reading & Leeds lineup is actually buried in the logic of the schedule itself: the same batch of headliners is playing on different days depending on the site. Florence + The Machine close out The Grid stage in Leeds on Friday night, then head to Reading to wrap things up on Sunday; Charli XCX and Fontaines D.C. play Reading on Friday before the same lineup moves to Leeds the next day, Saturday; Dave and RAYE each get one show apiece — Reading on Saturday, Leeds on Sunday. Chase & Status Live follows the same script, hitting Leeds first on Friday before bringing it to Reading on Sunday. Six headliners, three pairings, a one-day staggered tour between the two sites — that's the clearest thread running through the officially released full 2026 stage schedule.

This year's event runs from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, over the UK's Bank Holiday long weekend. For the first time in Leeds history, the site has been approved for a Thursday night show, with Kasabian closing out The Grid stage, supported by The Lathums and Arkayla, while the LS23 stage runs an electronic lineup featuring CamUKG, Halfpint, C100 and Lens straight through to 2am. Reading, meanwhile, still kicks off on Friday, with no Thursday show.

The hardware side of things is just as much a focus of this year's overhaul. Organizers are calling it the biggest site and stage renovation in the festival's history: the former Main Stage has been renamed The Grid, and two new stages — The Gallery and The Warehouse — join the existing lineup of The Ballroom, The Canopy, The Bus (Reading) and LS23 (Leeds). Festival director Melvin Benn told NME that these changes have him "more excited for Reading & Leeds than ever before."

Both sites boast their own standout names, with Skepta, Kneecap and Cruz Beckham And The Breakers all on the bill

Beyond the six headliners, both sites have stacked out heavyweight slots of their own: Skepta, Sombr, Role Model, JADE, Kneecap, Geese, Skye Newman, Holly Humberstone, Gurriers, Westside Cowboy, Declan McKenna, Maisie Peters, Paris Paloma, Overpass and Duke Dumont will all take turns performing over the weekend, with Loyle Carner slotted into the Sunday afternoon slot on The Grid at Leeds. Over on The Canopy stage, Cruz Beckham And The Breakers have also landed a spot, tucked into Saturday afternoon.

The full slot-by-slot schedule is now live and can be checked on the official Reading and Leeds websites as well as the event app, though organizers note that times are still subject to change. Ticket holders can also check early weather forecasts for both sites on the official site. This year, the festival has also teamed up with Spotify to generate personalized discovery playlists based on users' listening habits and the lineup.
