The FE line has always had a clear identity: cheaper than the flagship, but still a step above Samsung's mid-range phones, built around bringing the core experience of the current flagship down to a more affordable price point. In the event teaser, Samsung described the upcoming S26 model as designed to "bring the core series experience," including the camera, AI features, and the latest version of One UI. That phrasing doesn't confirm the FE branding outright, but it lines up precisely with how Samsung has described past FE generations.
The specs that have leaked so far sketch out a solid, no-frills device: a 6.7-inch AMOLED display at Full-HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the chip side, rumors point to an Exynos 2500 rather than the Qualcomm silicon Samsung uses in its flagships in certain markets — a familiar trade-off for the FE line over the years.
