Two albums, both turning 25, tie together the first lineup wave for Slam Dunk Festival 2027. Bowling For Soup and Simple Plan are co-headlining, with the former marking the 25th anniversary of their signature record "Drunk Enough To Dance," while the latter returns to celebrate the same milestone for their debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls."
Slam Dunk Festival 2027 is confirmed to return to two familiar UK venues: the Northern England leg kicks off Saturday, May 29 at Leeds Temple Newsam, before wrapping up the following day, Sunday, May 30, at Hatfield Park.
This marks Bowling For Soup's first Slam Dunk appearance since 2023, when frontman Jaret Reddick called that performance "one of our favorite shows of our entire career." Simple Plan, meanwhile, returns to Slam Dunk after an eight-year absence.
Another highlight of the lineup is Reel Big Fish—the ska-punk veterans are making their only UK reunion appearance since announcing their hiatus back in 2019. Also on the bill are Less Than Jake, The Interrupters, Grade 2, Beartooth, Wage War, and The Amity Affliction.
On the metalcore front, Killswitch Engage headlines their first-ever Slam Dunk appearance. The band released their first new album in six years, "This Consequence," in 2025, making this show part of their UK touring cycle for the new record.
The currently announced lineup also includes ERRA, Melrose Avenue, From Ashes To New, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, The Maine, Trophy Eyes, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, and Mouth Culture, with organizers stating more names will be added to the bill.
Presale tickets open Friday, October 2, with general sale beginning Monday, October 5. In April this year, one of Slam Dunk's program directors stepped down from festival operations following online allegations, and organizers have yet to provide further details on the matter.
