The stage lights dim low as Phoebe Bridgers stands caught between light and shadow, her black lace gown nearly blending into the backdrop. This isn't just some random pick from a styling team—it's the work of Susie Cave, Nick Cave's wife, who has transitioned into fashion design in recent years and is now personally designing the entire wardrobe for Bridgers' "The Lost Tour."
Sharing the stage photo on Instagram, Susie Cave wrote: "It's been such an honor to be invited to design the costumes for Phoebe Bridgers' 'The Lost Tour.' She's such an extraordinary artist, and getting to create these dresses for her and watch them come alive on stage is a true privilege." She also thanked Bridgers directly: "Thank you for trusting me." Susie Cave has previously designed custom gowns for Florence Welch as well.
The black lace gown pairs with a stripped-back stage setup rarely seen from Bridgers in recent years—dim lighting, a minimal band lineup, an atmosphere that closely mirrors the emotional tone of her new album, "Lost Weekend." It's her first solo studio record since 2020's "Punisher," and "The Lost Tour" marks her first full-scale tour since 2023.
The tour kicked off on September 15 in Indiana, making its way through Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., and Michigan. Before that, Bridgers made a surprise appearance at Madison Square Garden in New York, performing an acoustic set, and in August held two phone-free intimate shows at London's Union Chapel to celebrate her 32nd birthday. Three planned shows in Kingston, Brighton, and Bristol were cancelled after she was hospitalized, with those dates since rescheduled. She also received news of her first-ever chart-topping album while in the hospital.
After North America, the Tour Heads to the UK and Europe in November
Starting in October, the tour will hit North American venues including TD Garden in Boston, Spectrum Center in Charlotte, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and State Farm Arena in Atlanta, before wrapping up the month with two shows at Intuit Dome in Inglewood. On November 23, the tour moves to 3Arena in Dublin, followed by Co-op Live in Manchester, OVO Hydro in Glasgow (November 27), and bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham. After a show at The O2 in London on December 1, the tour continues through Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Berlin, and Copenhagen, finally wrapping up at Avicii Arena in Stockholm on December 12.
