TOGA x Wrangler returns after eight years with five denim designs
An 11MJZ-based jacket, shaped shirt, two trouser silhouettes and a dress revisit Western references. Isetan Shinjuku launches October 21, ahead of other selected stores on October 23.
TOGA and Wrangler collaborate again after eight years to launch five denim products. The series is scheduled to be released first at TOGA Isetan Shinjuku Store on October 21, 2026, and will be sold at TOGA direct stores and some Wrangler stores from October 23. This is the second collaboration between the two parties after 2018, and is connected by the familiar design language of western clothing.

The jacket is borrowed from 11MJZ, and another file is added to the back
Denim jacket is based on Wrangler 11MJZ, priced at 154,000 yen in Japan, with classic plaid blanket fabric on the inside, and embroidery details reminiscent of 12MJZ on the back. For readers who are familiar with Wrangler models, the origin of these elements is more specific than simply summarizing it as "retro jacket".
Putting different archival design language into the same piece of clothing also makes it more than just an exact replica of a historical model. When purchasing, you can look at the front structure, back pattern and interior configuration separately, and then confirm the actual weight and size; the sense of history in the photo cannot replace the movement space required when wearing it.

How to distinguish shirts, two types of pants and dresses?
Denim shirt refers to the waisted silhouette of the early 27MW style, and adds color contrast on the shoulders and pocket flaps. The price in Japan is 47,300 yen. The trousers are available in two silhouettes: micro-flared and wide, priced at 53,900 and 58,300 yen respectively, allowing the same series to be composed of different upper and lower body proportions.

The fifth model is a denim dress updated from TOGA's existing Jump Dress, priced at 75,900 yen in Japan. It is different from the focus of jackets and shirts. It is more suitable to look at the lines and layers of the entire garment, rather than just understanding it as another part of the denim suit.

Western style, not necessarily full of symbols
This collaboration has established style through details such as tailoring, embroidery and pockets. If you want to integrate it into your daily wardrobe, you can first choose one piece as the protagonist, and then match it with plain-colored inner wear or simple shoes; if you wear denim on both the upper and lower body, you can compare the color and width of the fabric to decide whether you want it to look like a complete set or to have different layers.

The difference between slightly flared trousers and wide trousers is not just about the trousers. When actually choosing, waist circumference, hip space, trousers length and the interface between the upper and the upper will all affect the appearance. It’s best to use actual measurements of existing trousers for comparison, rather than relying solely on a single size letter or model photo.

There is a two-day difference between the advance sale and the official sale.
The first store on October 21st will be the TOGA Isetan Shinjuku store, and other designated stores will follow on from the 23rd. Those who plan to buy in Japan should check the store location and date at the same time; the selling price announced in Japan is not the unified pricing in Taiwan, and cross-border ordering conditions need to be confirmed separately.

After eight years of cooperation, it is worth paying attention to how TOGA reassembles Wrangler’s specific clothing archives. For collectors, the model and design origin provide reading clues; for daily wearers, the final question is which of the jackets, shirts, trousers or dresses best fits the original way of dressing.
