Corolla 六十歲了,Toyota 用一台限量 2,500 台的油電車紀念它

The Corolla first debuted in 1966, and sixty years later, Toyota is marking the milestone not with a concept car, but with an actual production model you can drive home. Toyota has unveiled the 2027 Corolla 60th Anniversary Special Edition, built on the current Hybrid SE trim, limited to 2,500 units for the US market, with deliveries expected in early 2027.

On the exterior, the standard SE badging on the rear has been swapped out for exclusive anniversary badging, and buyers can choose between Ice Cap and the new limited-edition color, Supersonic Red. The car rides on a set of two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels with a black machined finish, giving it a more aggressive look than the regular SE trim.

The cabin follows the same sporty theme: black-and-red sport seats finished in a special fabric, with anniversary-exclusive graphics stamped onto the floor mats and door sill plates, underscoring the car's limited-edition status. The center console gets a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, a step up from the 8-inch screen standard on base trims, along with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 active safety features.

Under the hood, there's no special powertrain just for the anniversary edition — it carries over the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine paired with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System, producing a combined 138 horsepower, with an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of around 50 mpg. It's built on the TNGA-C platform, offering a low center of gravity and nimble handling, with power managed through an electronically controlled CVT that coordinates between the engine and battery system.

Beyond the anniversary edition, the 2027 Corolla lineup keeps its existing powertrain options: the gas-only version continues with the 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine putting out 169 horsepower, and adds a new deep black color called Inked. Standard trims are expected to go on sale this fall starting at $23,325, plus a $1,295 destination fee, while the 60th Anniversary Special Edition won't arrive until early 2027, limited to just 2,500 units for the US market.
