Air Jordan 3 Goes Mismatched With Pink Left, Blue Right and Sweatshirt-Style Ribbed Tongues

Pink on the left, blue on the right — this isn't a mismatched mistake, it's the whole design. Jordan Brand is leaning into old-school athletic wear logic with this Air Jordan 3, treating each shoe as its own entity: the eyelets, collar, heel, midsole, and outsole all break off into different colorways depending on which foot you're looking at, almost like a vintage sports jacket that's been split down the middle and reassembled.

The base is built from deep Obsidian leather, with the left shoe layering on pink and red tones across the eyelets, collar, heel, midsole, and outsole, while the right shoe swaps those same zones for varying shades of blue. What ties the pair together is the shared navy elephant print overlay at the toe and heel, along with a set of pre-installed cream laces — the one detail pulling both shoes back into a single system.

The material update here is arguably more notable than the colorway itself. The collar and eyelet area, traditionally leather on the AJ3, has been swapped for mesh, while the tongue now uses a ribbed knit that feels closer to sweatshirt fabric than standard sneaker material. The lining, insole, and outsole traction pattern continue the red-and-blue split logic, while a white Jumpman logo and "AIR" branding on the heel appear consistently on both shoes, keeping the mismatched pair readable as a single set. The box also includes an extra set of red and blue laces, giving wearers the option to push the asymmetry even further.

The Air Jordan 3 "Sports Renaissance" is slated to release on August 15, 2026. Pricing has yet to be announced.
