Do All AI Glasses Have Cameras? Three Routes from Ray-Ban Meta, AInoonX and Even G2

Camera, audio and in-lens display models are different tools. Compare cameras, speakers, screens and phone connections to see which everyday step each changes.

Do All AI Glasses Have Cameras? Three Routes from Ray-Ban Meta, AInoonX and Even G2

AI glasses may all resemble eyewear, but can be three different tools: a camera recording what is ahead, a portable audio interface or a text prompt inside the lenses. Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta HSTN, Seerslab AInoonX and Even G2 occupy different positions. The original selection page contains affiliate shopping links through which its publisher may earn a commission. Distinguishing the functional type is more useful than relying on an AI label alone.

Eye-Level Cameras Do Not Necessarily Mean Screens in the Lenses

Second-generation Ray-Ban Meta combines a camera, microphones and open-ear speakers for photography, video, music and voice interaction. The brand lists 12 MP, up to 3K video and up to eight hours of typical mixed use. Frames such as Headliner have different bridge-fit options. Photochromic behavior depends on the selected lens; the specification of a particular Transitions version does not apply to every combination.

Oakley Meta HSTN likewise combines capture, sound and AI, approaching them through sports-eyewear styling. Meta’s official information lists 3K video, up to eight hours of typical use and additional power from a charging case. The core is hands-free recording and audio response rather than subtitles in the lens. Anyone expecting navigation text directly ahead should check for an actual display module.

Audio-Focused AInoonX Removes Both Camera and Display

Seerslab’s AInoonX concentrates on music, calls and voice AI without a camera or display. The developer’s official App Store description lists Bluetooth pairing, temple touch controls, activation of the configured AI, music control and firmware management. It treats eyewear as a touchable entry to sound. Compared with camera glasses, this is a different center of use rather than merely one missing extra.

Someone who mainly wants calls, music or questions may not need a capture module. Open-ear audio also means surroundings and volume affect listening. Consider your most frequent commands and how glasses and phone divide the work, rather than assuming every smart function operates independently offline.

Even G2 Puts Information in View with Clear Connection Conditions

Even G2 uses an in-lens Micro LED display for translation, prompting, navigation and notifications, without cameras or speakers. The official Korean page lists approximately 36 g and two days of regular use, with round and angular frame options in the specifications. It serves those who need visible text, a different role from either private-listening earbuds or recording glasses.

Even’s official support page also says all current G2 functions require Bluetooth and internet connections. Ask four questions: do you want to record, hear audio or see text, how much phone dependence is acceptable, and do suitable frames and lenses exist? Read resolution, battery conditions and appearance against the precise model. Unconfirmed weights and endurance figures for products still in development should not be compared as established retail specifications.
